I WON!!!

I have been really busy getting some sewing done so I haven't had a chance to stamp this past week. I am so EXCITED to say that I won a gift voucher from Simon Says Stamp and Show with one of my entries for their recent challenge. Christmas Winter Cards

This is the last of my Christmas cards I made to stamp with my friend. This one is more on the CAS side and colors not your usual traditional Christmas colors, but I like it. I did a 2-step stamping on the hollies. I picked up colors using a blender pen to color in the berries.

Just a Note

It's time for me to add some techniques into my stamping. This technique is called cracked glass. It's done using clear embossing powder. I sponged some brown ink so the cracked glass look would show through. I embossed a green piece of cardstock to add some texture, then used 3-d foam tape to mount the image onto the card front.

Pink Lemonade

I've had this cute image sitting in my drawer forever. I love this image, but I guess when kids are grown I don't go for a lot of children's stamps like I used to. I colored the image in with Copics. She needed some sparkle so I added stickles to her crown and wand. Last, I added the bow and flower. I am loving the whole flower and pearl accent lately.

Thinking of You

I am running out of thinking of you cards. I've been sending quite a bit of them every month and now it's time to make some more. I love this berries set from MFP. It reminds me of berry picking in the summertime. Nothing like fresh berries.
