Wishes and Dreams

Happy Tuesday! Today I made this card for Tuesday Throwdown's challenge using this adorable image from All Dressed Up Stamps called Little Birdie. The theme for this challenge is "Sparkle."

I started by coloring the image using Copic markers. I added the highlights using a white gel pen and the sparkle portion of this challenge is the sequins and I also using clear Wink of Stella to add glitter to her hair and dress. I have a video below where the glitter shows up very well as I am working on this card.
Please visit the TT blog for more DT inspirations and enter to win a fun prize from our sponsor.

Sparkle

My card for today. I love the emboss resist technique. It's a fun way to make quick cards and watercolor them. I have a video to go along with this card here. I've also included the video in this post.

Sending You

I recently received some fun stamps from Winnie and Walter to use for this week's Tuesday Throwdown challenge. The theme for this week is "Say It with Words." I love this beautiful Mini Scenery Bed of Roses image. It has lots of open space perfect for watercoloring. I also have a video to share with you on how I created this card.

Hello Faux Watercolor Tutorial

Hello Stampers! Summer seems so short. I wish it would last forever. I guess Summer could last forever with this bright and cheery card I made using A Muse Studio's Hibiscus Border set. I created one almost identical a while ago using Tombow Dual Brush Markers to create a faux watercolor effect.

Stenciled Background and Watercoloring with Zig Clean Clear Brushes

Hello! I went out of my comfort zone and created a video to go along with this card. I used Bristol white cardstock to watercolor with the Zig Clean Clear Brush markers. I embossed the cabbage rose using white embossing powder.
