Happy Holidays

Hi There! It's been busy in my neck of the woods. This is the first chance I've gotten to color. This fun image is from Sasayaki Glitter called Christmas Monster. This is part of a progressive challenge on Facebook.

Sending You Smiles

This is my second card which I created with one layer. I used Tombow markers to create the watercolor background then randomly stamped the flowers and ink splatters using a grey pigment ink.

Happy Birthday Watercolor Card

I made a couple of new cards for a card class that I donated to our church's young women's auction. This is one of them. I wanted to keep it simple so I only colored the hibiscus.

I used Zig's Clean Color Real Brush because it's quick and easy. The tag was freehand cut I then added twine and popped up the flower using foam tape.

Supplies:
Stamps: A Muse Studio (Tropical Blooms, Be Yourself-sentiment) CTMH (birthday-retired)
Papers: C-ordination (white), Bristol smooth white, Strathmore watercolor, Lawn Fawn (orange plaid)
Inks: Zigs Clean Color Real Brush (070 Orange, 024 Wine Red), A Muse Studio (sage), Lawn Fawn (jet black)
Accessories: The Twinery (green twine)

Sparkle

My card for today. I love the emboss resist technique. It's a fun way to make quick cards and watercolor them. I have a video to go along with this card here. I've also included the video in this post.

Hello Faux Watercolor Tutorial

Hello Stampers! Summer seems so short. I wish it would last forever. I guess Summer could last forever with this bright and cheery card I made using A Muse Studio's Hibiscus Border set. I created one almost identical a while ago using Tombow Dual Brush Markers to create a faux watercolor effect.

Hello

Hello! I am still using up the extra flowers that I colored and embossed. I only have one more large flower left to use up. On this card I used A Muse Studio's Be Yourself and Tropical Blooms. I started by creating the watercolor background using Tombow markers and let it dry.
