Craft Space

I am linking up with Craftin Desert Diva to show my craft space/room. My craft space is really small, but has everything I need. This is just half of my space. I sew and stamp in this space. I have room to store all my pre-cut fabrics, and sewing supplies. The other side of the area you don't see has a couple of cabinets and stacked drawers to store my stamping supplies and more fabrics. All of my papers are in the two yellow boxes on my desk. There are four 6x6 pads in the drawer and that's it for my paper supplies. I went through about 3 years ago and got rid of a ton of papers and stamps. The small quilt at the moment is used to cover up my serger. The little basket next to it are fabrics that I would like to use for my next sewing project. I do have photos of my family and artwork on the walls. My stamp pad holder was made by hubby. As you can see, it's quite empty because I got rid of alot of old stamp pads and haven't felt the need to buy new ones. Well, that's a little peak into my craft space.

You're So Sweet!

I am still making pink cards for this month. It's been so much fun. I colored the cupcakes in using Copic markers and added some pink dots to the cupcake liner. The doily is a die-namic from MFT and I love using seam binding these days. I created the sentiment on my computer and sized it to fit my card.

Hope

Just a quick post before I head out the door. I used Wags 'n Whiskers sketch for my card. I stamped the butterfly then added some pearls in the center, but it seems like it's blended into the white part of the butterfly. I also used white ink to distress the edges of all the papers and dotted the green circle with a white gel pen. The flowers are done using MFT's rolled rose die-namics.

Congrats

Hi Stampers!
It's time for another Tuesday Throwdown and this week I am using Dude Time Doodle's Chef Burly image. He looks like he's having alot of fun cooking up something. This week's challenge is a recipe challenge using 1 image, 2 die cuts and 3 buttons. I created the circle background using the letterpress method with Provo Craft's embossing folder and ink.

Here's a close-up photo. I matted the image onto the card front using 3-d foam tape.

Head on over to the Tuesday Throwdown blog and enter to win some fun digis from Dude Time Doodles and see what the DT has created to share with you for some inspiration.

Hi!

This week the Stamping Boutique's challenge is all about "Back to School". I am using this adorable Back to School AJ image that you can purchase at the TSB. I colored him in using Copics, added some stitching on the yellow cardstock and some buttons. Since it's Sept. and back to school month, I found some alphabet papers in my stash and used that for the background.
Head on over to The Stamping Boutique and enter to win some fun stamps. The DT made some awesome cards to share with you.

Just Because

Summer is coming to an end soon. These colors remind me of summer. I haven't used a solid image stamp in a long time. It was quick and easy. I cut out the cardstocks then stamped the butterfly. I embossed the solid cardstocks, added straight and zigzag stitches. I have a tiny piece of the aqua swirls patterned paper so I used it behind the image. Last, I added the ribbon and rose.

I WON!!!

I have been really busy getting some sewing done so I haven't had a chance to stamp this past week. I am so EXCITED to say that I won a gift voucher from Simon Says Stamp and Show with one of my entries for their recent challenge. Thank you so much Simon Says Stamps for a wonderful opportunity to go shopping :-)

Just a Note

It's time for me to add some techniques into my stamping. This technique is called cracked glass. It's done using clear embossing powder. I sponged some brown ink so the cracked glass look would show through. I embossed a green piece of cardstock to add some texture, then used 3-d foam tape to mount the image onto the card front.

Thanks!!!

I have really enjoyed stamping lately and it's even more fun to win stuff! I would like to thank the following companies for their generosity in sponsoring the wonderful challenges. It's so much fun to receive new stamps to play with:-)

These are stamps from a grab bag I won with Gina K Designs.

I won this stamp set called Mother's Magnolia from Mark's Finest Papers.

I won a challenge at Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge. The sponsor is The Stamping Boutique so I got to choose 3 digi stamps from their shop. There's so much to choose from, I had a hard time deciding.

To all these awesome companies.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Happy Thoughts

This is a quick card to make. I love the yellow and green color combo. This is an unmounted stamp from Stampin' Up. It's the first time I've ever used a cling mounted stamp. It's pretty cool.

Nuts About You

This stamp is from SU's Animal Cracker set. I received this from WishRAK. I colored this cute squirrel in brown using my Kohi--Noor pencil and blended it with baby oil. I used my Coluzzle ovals to cut out the image and the sunflower cardstock. I created the scallops by using EK Success' corner rounder. The holes were punched using a Fiskar hand held punch. I ran the green and sunflower cardstocks through my Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots and Love Language embossing folder. I decided that the card needs some stitching, so that's what I did.
