Just a Note

Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend. My girls and I went fabric shopping for their Halloween costumes today. Since it's World Cardmaking Day today, I just had to sneak in a card. This image is from The Stamping Boutique called Hidden Fairy. I die cut the oval image twice and cut off the scallops so the patterned paper would fit the center. I then embossed it with the Script embossing folder. I also embossed the chevron patterned paper using the Swiss Dots embossing folder. I did alot of ink distressing on the edges of the papers by taking my white and light brown ink pad and swiped it along the edges. I recently received some seam binding and am loving adding them to my cards. I used it to add a bow to my card and topped the center with a small pearl.

This is a close-up of my card. Hopefully you can see the embossing on the oval shape and chevron paper.

I am linking to the following:
Copic Oz - think pink
