Coo Coo Owl Fun and Flair DT Challenge

Happy Friday! It's a beautiful day here in So. Cal. It feels like summer. Things have been a bit busy around here, haven't had much time for stamping. I made this card using Fun 'n Flair Stamps new Coo Coo Owl. This is a digi stamp so you can make it any size you would like to use for your project. That's one of the things I love about digi stamps. They are so versatile.

The DT challenge this week is to make a textured card or layout. For my textured part I am using an embossed leaves paper. This is an old paper from Creative Memories.  I also added some more texture by adding sewing along the edges of my papers. I had to use colored pencils to color my image because the little one took the Copic marker with the colors I need to school with her. The only colored pencils I love are the woodless ones. They glide on so nice and smooth, alas the other little one took those so I was left with some meager colored pencils. It'll have to do.
