Hello There! Today's the day. This is my first post for Parade Your Crafts' Challenge. The theme for this challenge is Picnic. Picnics are so fun especially with beautiful decorations and yummy treats.
I used the Sweet Afternoons sticker sheet and chipboard elements to create the wording for the front of the basket.
The decorative sides for the handle was done using a border punch then adding a strip of patterned paper to the center. I added the pretty pink rhinestone brad to accent the bottom of the handle. It is glued on with a strong wet glue. From past experience, nothing worked as well as wet glue to seal the papers together.
Last but not least, these yummy treats for the basket. I wrapped them with various strips of patterned paper, and added some flowers with a brad in the center. I distressed the flowers with a light pink ink.
I hope this has inspired you to make your own picnic decorations. Please hop on over to the PYC Challenge blogfor more DT projects and enter to win some awesome products from The Paper Parade.
