PYC #7 Halloween

Hello Stampers! Are you ready for Halloween? I am as ready as can be. We went to 2 Halloween parties last Saturday and now all that's left is to take our kiddos trick-or-treating. Today Parade Your Craft challenge is all about Halloween.

I used Authentique's Thrilling paper collection for my Halloween projects from The Paper Parade.

I cut out the Happy Halloween image and adhered it to the plaid paper. I added zigzag stitches to the corners and did some paper piercing on top of the thin black rectangle lines to create faux stitching. I then added the black herringbone ribbon and placed it inside this 5x7 frame I had laying around. I removed the glass piece for another use.

On this card I stamped the haunted house and sentiment then adhered it onto using various papers from Authentique's Thriller collection. I distressed the the edges of the papers using Ranger's distressed ink and I also added some Ranger's distressed glitter in gold.

Last is this Halloween treat pouch. We bought the candy corn from a farm we frequent every fall for treats and pumpkins. They have the best candy corn around. It's not super sweet like the varieties you find at the grocery store.

Supplies (all products can be purchased at The Paper Parade except for the Hero Arts stamps):
Stamps: Hero Arts (Happy Halloween)
Papers: Authentique (Thrilling papers and sticker sheets), SU (orange cardstock)
Inks: Ranger (antique linen Distressed Ink), CTMH (black)
Accessories: Ranger (antique linen distressed glitter), craft store (ribbon and black hemp)
Tools: Fiskars (crimp tool)
