I didn't really know what colors the climbing clematis has so I looked it up and there are so many colors to choose from but since it's a red, white and blue them I chose to go with red. The center of the flowers have some yellow and white so I followed the photo reference for it. I used various shades of red and keeping the top flower a bit lighter for light/contrast. I used blue for the smaller butterfly and added some sequins to tie everything together and give the card some sparkle since it's a 4th of July theme.
