PYC…Thanksgiving

Hello Stampers! It's Thanksgiving week and I'm so happy to be able to sleep in this week and hangout with my family. Our kids are out of school all week so it's going to be busy but fun. This week's Parade Your Crafts challenge is all about Thanksgiving. This is such a wonderful time of year to reflect on the all that we've been given and to be especially grateful for blessings large and small.
Onto my projects. I created a cake treat holder and a card to match using Authentique's Natural collection from The Paper Parade.

I created the base and top of the cake box using kraft cardstock then added the designer papers on top. The pearls were then added to the scallops. I layered various sticker shapes to create the sentiment and popped it onto the gold ribbon and finished with a large brad from Teresa Collins Sweet Afternoon.

Next up is the matching card. The designer paper that I used is made up of one sheet with three different designs on it. I stamped the leaves onto various designer papers and fussy cut them. I pieced together the sentiments, added some eyelets, tied a double bow then added some strings to the leaves and tag. The sentiments and leaves are popped up with 3-D foam tape for dimension.
